The plane is sheeted in 1/8" balsa and covered with 3/4 glass"

"I was concerned about the engines overheating because they have no prop blast to help cool them. I told them to get the heck out of the way after the engines were started because I didn't want to spend any extra time on the ground."

" The huge right torque caused by the pusher engines on the climb-out was the only surprise on the maiden flight. When I realized what was happening, I eased the throttle and the torque was easily overcome with a little left rudder."
The plane was big and lumbering and easy to fly.
